Winter

Saint John Soccer Club provides Winter Programs for all ages and abilities. With the expertise of our
Technical Director, we have come up with an ever growing array of options for players to enjoy soccer
indoors throughout the months when players cannot access outdoor fields. This program will continue
to grow in the hopes of offering our year round membership every opportunity to continue to build as
players.

Golden Age – (U8 – U10) This Golden age of learning when our athletes become less self-centered and are
more able to reflect on their actions and learn from mistakes. This provides an optimal window for
further development of skills. Learn by doing and add to our soccer repertoire in a challenging
environment. We are looking at using the Session / Game model to challenge our athletes and have
some fun! Cost $100.  Program runs once a week on Thursdays till the end of March excluding school
holidays.

Development Group –  (U10 Academy – U12) These are our more serious soccer players, players that will
be looking to play soccer 40 weeks a year when possible and commit to playing in the winter months
(Team New Brunswick Candidates, and when old enough REX program players). Cost $150.   The
program runs twice a week Mid-November till the end of March excluding school holidays.

Advanced Group – (U13 – U15) Players are introduced to concepts of mental prep, goal setting, Physical
endurance, more advanced tactics and soccer skills. Players are starting to nail down position specific
training and techniques to help them progress to the next level. Cost $200. The program runs three
times a week Mid-November till the end of March excluding school holidays.

High Performance – ( U18 / senior players) – Players are now working to hone their skills under a variety of competitive settings. Players are working on advanced skills, techniques, tactical awareness, discipline and mental toughness. Cost $300.  The program runs four times a week Mid-November till the end of March excluding school holidays.
